Job Description


The Junior Buyer in a few words
:

As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for Procurement of a wide variety of commodities, communicate delivery schedules, process returns and help resolve payment issues if any… They will work closely and support Operations, Warehousing, Accounting, and project Managers among others, monitor the supplier shipment and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Should there be any problems, it is necessary to coordinate with vendors right away.

Responsibilities:

  • Issuing orders daily.
  • Follow up orders with Vendors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with wholesalers and suppliers.
  • Assess financial risks of purchases.
  • QBR’s to vendors.
  • Project material / Problem solving.
  • Support other Averna Regions for procurement activities.
  • Back up of the logistics teammate if they are absent – shipping & receiving.

Qualifications


The ideal candidate in a few words
:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or other related field
  • Experienced: A minimum of 1-3 years in purchasing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Knowledge of using ERP System, SAP or equivalent
  • Quick learner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
  • Multilingual: Polish and English spoken
  • Ability to multitask in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork
